Thanks for your kind words about my book! I appreciate knowing that it is helpful to you and your students. I wish I could revise it, of course... I have so much new thinking to add to what is there, but I think that will always be true with publishing. The work changes us and our writing can't always keep up. I hope we'll meet at a conference somewhere...

TX is fine. We're already having days in the 90s here in the desert. We have 3 more weeks before we wrap up here, so I'm jealous of you being on break so soon! I'll have a few weeks before teaching a YA Lit class during Summer II, so I'm eager to have a little time for reading, revamping, and relaxing coming up. Say, will you be in Philly? I got in by the skin of my teeth, but I'll be there. :)

glad to see fellow Pennsylvanians on the ning! busy season with our Oct conference in Lancaster on the 10th and 11th (www.pctela.org) then readying for San Antonio. Hope our paths will cross - if not look for me on the ning!
