MIT university is trying to build a free resource to help kids learn SAT/ACT thru the power of user-generated images and video. We are currently running a nationwide contest, challenging kids to make fun and memorable flashcards by pairing sentences and images to a common test word. There will be a small cash prize and iTunes giveaways. Due date is May 22.

Diane M. Peterson said… - NOOOO, I don't know everyone, but I figured that this would be the closest thing to campaigning that I would do. I don't seem to remember anyone handing out cheesy flyers and tacky buttons at CEL! By the way, centerpieces are ready to go. Did Lyn get a chance to tell the hotel we were supplying our own centerpieces? We'll need a place to put them between events, because sadly, my room is at the Marriott across the street. I also made a "preview" decoration for the registration booth. I'll try to bring that by on Thursday or Friday morning early.
Cheers! (BTW, you owe me a cocktail for putting me at the CEL booth EARLY on Sat. morning. That means I have to quit at a reasonable hour on Friday night!!!)

Thanks for writing. Glad you like my photo here. I met this very affectionate ostrich during our group's tour of an ostrich farm in South Africa. I thought it was true love, and I hoped she would still respect me the next morning. However, I realize now that the ostrich was really more interested in the two food pellets that the guide told me to hold between my lips.
