Yes, the Gallery will remain open until June 2010. How quickly the submissions go up depend on how quickly the curator of the gallery approves them.
Katie-- Your gallery will be VIEWABLE tomorrow. At that time, visitors to your Gallery will be able to view submissions. Sending them the URL should be enough instruction. The Gallery goes live at 12:01 a.m. EST tomorrow (Oct. 20)
David-- Those questions are for each individual submission, not for the whole "lot" of them. You'll need to answer the questions for each submission.
Kelly-- What a neat idea. Make sure to take pictures of the "chalkings" Those pictures would also make great submissions to the gallery.
Susan-- The answer is yes... any pieces that are submitted to an external link (to YouTube, a blog, etc.) will take them to the site on which the piece is posted.
