Engaging Hearts and Minds Through a Great Books Program
This A.46 Session, which will be held in Convention Center Room 103 B (Street Level)
begins at 9:30 am on Friday, November 20. The presenters look forward to sharing activities that engage high school students in book discussions.
Attached are additional handouts describing creative activities for discussion as well as contact information for Barry Gilmore, whose book, Speaking Volumes, inspired some of the activities that will be demonstrated in this session.
Please bring ideas for discussion-starters that have been effective in your classrooms.
