1. Take a look at the YouTube clip on the National Day on Writing—http://bit.ly/1qLbAd.

2. Share with your students an amazing You Tube clip from award-winning authors about writing. Authors include Tomie dePaola, Wally Lamb, Clive Cussler, Ridley Pearson, Eoin Colfer, Anthony Horowitz, Lee Child, Graeme Base, Garth Stein, Dennis Lehane, and many others all offering inspirational advice about writing.

3. Figure out which great sessions to attend at the NCTE Convention, November 19-22.

4. Give some thought to Mary Donnelly’s question about grammar in the Discussion Group section of our Ning.

5. Submit your writing to the National Gallery of Writing!
